Why independence helps
Awarding organisations expect internal quality assurance to be carried out by someone who is qualified, occupationally competent and independent of the assessment decisions being sampled. For a small centre, bringing that in from outside is often the most practical way to meet the requirement.
Qualifications and experience
Internal Quality Assurance qualified; City & Guilds NPTC Integrated Trainer and Assessor; assessment and delivery experience with City & Guilds and CIWM (WAMITAB); end-point assessment experience; occupationally competent across horticulture, waste management and facilities management.
