About On Safe Ground Ltd
An independent consultancy providing health and safety, training and assessment, quality assurance, horticulture, waste and facilities management support across the UK.
Background
On Safe Ground Ltd is run by its director, whose career spans senior operational management of parks, cemeteries, cleansing, sports surfaces and facilities; nursery management; arboricultural works; hazardous waste collection; and technically competent manager responsibility for hazardous waste storage facilities.
More recently the focus has been health, safety, quality and environmental management for grounds maintenance, winter maintenance and pest control operations, together with consultancy, training, assessment and internal quality assurance for horticulture and waste management qualifications.
That combination matters. Advice on a depot, a permitted site or a grass-cutting operation comes from someone who has been responsible for running the same kind of operation, and who understands what is workable for the people doing the job.
How we work
- Advice is proportionate to the risk and to the size of the organisation.
- Documents are written for the people who will use them, in plain language.
- Work is delivered on site where that matters and remotely where it saves you money.
- Scope, timescale and cost are agreed in writing before work starts.
