Privacy notice
How On Safe Ground Ltd handles personal information from visitors to this website and from people who get in touch.
Who we are
On Safe Ground Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at onsafeground@btinternet.com or on 07873 142506.
This website
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising services, and does not contain contact forms. Fonts and images are served from the site itself, so no third-party services receive information about your visit. Your hosting provider may keep standard server logs, which typically include IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
Information you send us
If you telephone or email us, we receive the information you choose to give, which will usually include your name, contact details, your organisation and the details of your enquiry. We use it to respond to you, to prepare a proposal if you ask for one and, if you engage us, to deliver the work and keep the business records that go with it.
Lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the business, and on the performance of a contract where you engage us. Where the law requires us to keep records, for example for tax purposes, we rely on that legal obligation.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to deal with the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Records relating to work carried out are kept for as long as legal, tax, insurance and professional requirements demand, after which they are deleted or destroyed.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. It may be processed by the providers we use to run the business, such as our email and accountancy providers, and it may be disclosed where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for access to your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing and, in some cases, to have it transferred. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
